Core Brief’s S&P 500 Sector Momentum page is a lightweight dashboard that pulls the latest sector and sub-sector data from our API (built on Yahoo Finance prices) and summarises performance across 1M, 3M, 6M, 9M, and 12M horizons. You can switch between Raw Return (%) and Historical Percentile to compare moves either by magnitude or by strength versus each group’s own history, filter the view to sector totals or sub-sectors, and read the same dataset in four formats: a heat-mapped Table (fast scanning), a ranked Momentum list (best/worst leadership), a percentile Spectrum (how each horizon lines up on a 0–100 scale), and an interactive Chart (clean storytelling).
